The Latest
- Franciscan knocked off the top team in the PAC North Division, Thiel, on Saturday via a dominant sweep.
- The Barons dominated the service line and the blocking battle to be in total control.
- Logan Hickey had 14 kills to lead the offense, and Mary Smart had 28 set assists.

Scouting the Bison
- The Bison come into this match on a two-match winning streak, as they swept Waynesburg and Geneva last week.
- They hold a 4-6 PAC record like Franciscan and Saint Vincent. They are all in a tie for third in the PAC South. The top four teams in each division will make it to the postseason.
- Grace Padavick was named PAC Newcomer of the Week on Monday. The setter had 51 set assists and 21 digs over the pair of wins last week.

Matchup History
- The Bison have the upper hand in the all-time matchup by winning 17 of the previous 25 meetings, which dates back to 2007.
- As of late, the Barons have had more success. Franciscan has won the last four matches. 
- Logan Hickey led the Barons with 17 kills in the Barons' win earlier this season, and Sarah Clyde had eight total blocks. 

A Look Around the League

Historic Start to a Career
- Logan Hickey has had a historic start to her collegiate career with 312 kills thus far. If the season ended today, that would be the 3rd most by a Baron in a season all-time. Against Thiel, she passed Meg Kay's mark of 311 in the 2010 season. Dani Link had 314 in 2015 en route to an AMCC Championship.
- Anna Cain had 332 kills in 2012, her senior year, and that has stood since as the most kills by a Baron in a season.
- Hickey has had 20+ kills in seven matches this season, including four of her last seven outings. 
- She ranks T9th in all of NCAA Division III  in kills per set (4.52) and 13th in points per set (4.98) 

I Dig It
- In her first season as libero, Kaitlan Hickey is making some national noise.
- The sophomore sits 2nd in the nation in digs per set (6.29). Sierra Ricci of Chatham leads the nation at 7.49. 
- Her 4.20 digs per set over her career is fourth-best in program history. It has steadily climbed all season, as she is approaching Nicole Henson '12, who held a 4.46 average as a Baron.

Familiar Foe
- The Barons and Bison are local rivals with several connections.
- Adriana Gilliam, assistant coach for Franciscan, played for the Bison last season. She was second on the team with 243.5 points
- While there is a new coach in place at Bethany this season, Riley Felton. Gilliam is very familiar with her, as they played together for two years at Bethany and in high school at Southern Local. 

Rising through the Ranks
-Mary Jean Cadman climbed into 7th all-time in kills with 627 and is nearing her former teammate, Gabrielle Disselkamp '25, who is 6th with 641 kills.
- Cadman climbed to 8th in points with 684.5. She now trails Christina Lawrence '15 with 719. 
- Mary Smart climbed to sixth all-time set assists with 709. She is now approaching Sydney Riley '20, who is 5th with 777 set assists.
- Against Chatham at home, Sarah Clyde eclipsed 100 total blocks in her career. Her 31 career solo blocks are fourth-most in program history. Dani Link '16 sits in third with 32. Her 109 total blocks are tied for seventh-most in program history. She is tied with Maria Ciola '19, and approaching Monica Riguad '18, who sits in sixth.
