10/29/2025 1:00:00 PM

Steubenville, Ohio - Franciscan Men's Basketball released their 2025-26 schedule, which consists of 25 regular season contests before the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Tournament begins in the end of February. Head Coach Joe Wallace enters his 10th season at the helm and looks to make another postseason push this season.

2025-26 Men's Basketball Schedule

The Barons begin the season at Oberlin for a weekend tournament on November 7th & 8th. They will take on Beloit in game one for the first time in program history, and their opponent in game two will be determined by Friday's results.

Franciscan then returns for their home opener on Wednesday, November 12th, as they host Penn State New Kensington.

The Barons will also play a pair of exhibitions this season. First, at Saint Francis on November 26th. The Barons will take on the Division I Red Flash, as they will join the PAC next season in their transition to Division III. On December 15th, they make the trip to Wheeling for an 11:30 a.m. tip.

PAC play begins at Waynesburg on December 3rd. PAC play is a little different this season with the addition of Hiram to the league. The PAC has now split into North and South Divisions. Franciscan is in the South alongside Waynesburg, Washington & Jefferson, Saint Vincent, Chatham, and Bethany. They will play each South team twice, one at home and one away, but only play each North team once this season. That gives each team 16 PAC games, not 20, that were played over the last several seasons.

Kuzma Day will be on January 31st, as Hiram comes to Steubenville. Senior Day will be February 18th against Saint Vincent.

The PAC Championship Tournament was also altered, as eight teams will now make postseason play. The top four teams from each division will make the tournament. The full tournament layout can be viewed here.
