The Latest

- With a win, the Barons jumped up to solo third in the PAC South, as they look to hold down one of the four playoff spots available in the division.
- 51 kills were the most all-time by the Barons in a three-set match, as the offense was too much for the Bearcats to handle.

Scouting the Wolverines
- Grove City comes in on a five-match winning streak, as they are one of the hottest teams in the PAC. Hiram has won nine straight to sit atop the PAC North.
- Grove City is third in the PAC North and is still looking to clinch a playoff spot like the Barons.
- They enter Saturday as the leader of the PAC in attack percentage (.213) and blocks per set (2.33).
- Offensively, Sarah Hart and Alayna Dorst are one of the most dangerous duos in the conference, as they are both Top 10 in the PAC in several statistics.
- Defensively, there is no better duo than Lilly Pool and Kendra Klusch, who are both tied for first in the PAC with 1.03 blocks per set.

Matchup History
- The Barons are 1-9 all-time against the Wolverines, with that lone win coming in 2022.
- That win was at home*, but it came at Weirton Madonna High School, so the Barons are looking to beat them at Finnegan Fieldhouse for the first time.
- Last season, the Barons fell in four sets after winning the opening set.
