How It Happened
Today was a day of firsts: Urso's first start, her first game-winner, the Barons first PAC win, and the first time the Barons played from ahead this season. It took only 80 seconds for the Barons to score off a quick counterattack, and they rode that one goal lead all the way to the end. The game-winner is an easy stat to look at, but an easily overlooked is the shots on goal Giguere had to face. She only needed to make two saves, albeit very hard ones, to hold her first career shutout. The defensive line deserves considerable credit for stalling all of the Titans' attacks blocking what could have been shots on goal, but instead blocking anything from entering the box.
With this victory, the Barons have five PAC points and are in a three-way tie for 6th place.

Inside the Numbers
- Titans were only allowed 3 shots on goal
- Urso and Mara O'Leary led the Barons in shots

Who's Next?
Franciscan remains at home to take on Bethany under the lights on Wednesday. The Barons are 12-4-2 all-time against the the Bison, but they lost at Bethany last season. Monica Bird scored a pair of goals for the Bison, and Kierra Wilson scored one for the Barons in the 2-1 defeat. Bethany is off to a slow start, and they have allowed the most PAC goals so far this season.
