The Latest
- The Barons played their third consecutive road game to start the 2025-26 season at Wooster on Tuesday.
- Melnyk recorded another double double with 20 points and 10 rebounds.
- The Fighting Scots earned the win thanks to a large scoring effort in the second half.

Scouting the Lions
- Franciscan is 2-0 all-time against Penn St. Greater Allegheny, but they have not played each other since 2008.
- Last season, they held a 1-18 record.
- They will begin this season on Wednesday night at Bryant & Stratton before traveling to Steubenville the next day.

Rebounding Leader
- Jazzlyn Melnyk leads the Barons and all of the PAC in rebounding at 13.3 ppg.
- She also leads the PAC with three double doubles, as she has had one in each game this season.
- The Barons also lead the PAC in rebounding at 47.7 per game. 

Newcomers Making Noise
- Magdalen Simon and Lucy Wilkinson have started each game this season.
- Simon is second on the team in scoring at 12.0 ppg while pulling down 5.3 rpg.
- First-year players have played 47.5% of the minutes for the Barons so far this season.

Melnyk Closing in on Program Records
- Jazzlyn Melnyk sits 5th all-time in scoring, as she has scored 770 points. Sarah Schriner sits 4th all-time with 793 points.
- Melnyk holds the program record for most assists by a Baron with 221 and now holds the program record in steals with 166.
- Her 644 rebounds are the second most in program history. Over the weekend, she passed Marian Weber, who was in second with 629. Lacey Huck holds the record at 853 over her collegiate career.
 
Reedy Climbing the Ranks
- Caroline Reedy has 552 points scored in her Franciscan career. That sits her 14th on the all-time rankings.
- Angela Starre sits 13th in all-time scoring at 554 points, and Kaitlyn Sonneberger is 12th at 556 points.
- She is also among the Top 20 all-time in program history in rebounding, assists, and steals, as she has been a major contributor in all areas.
