The Latest
- The Barons suffered their first home loss of the season on Wednesday night against Denison.
- Jannuzi led the Barons with 12 points, and Magdalen Simon added 11 points off the bench. 
- The Barons now head to the state of Michigan for the first time in program history.

Scouting the Titans
- Illinois Wesleyan enters with a record of 1-1 after playing last weekend in a tournament.
- They took down Trinity (Texas) and lost to Wisconsin-Whitewater. 
- Last season, they held a record of 28-2, as they made a run into the NCAA Division III Sweet 16.
- Four Titans are averaging double-digit points so far this season. Ava Bardic leads the way with 15.5 ppg. 

Scouting the Firebirds
- The Barons take on Carthage on Saturday for their first meeting with the Firebirds.
- They enter the weekend with a 1-1 record, as they will take on Hope College on Friday night.
- They enter 2-1 with wins over Concordia (Wis.) and Edgewood.
- Senior guard Alyssa Orozco leads their offense at 13.3 ppg

Did you hear the News
- Abbigail Jannuzi leads the Barons in scoring at 13.2 ppg.
- She has scored in double digits in five out of six games this season, while coming off the bench in the first three games.
- She has achieved this production while playing in just over 20 minutes a game.
- She also leads the Barons with 15 made three-point field goals while shooting those at over 36%.

Newcomers Making Noise
- Freshman have played 48% of the minutes for the Barons so far this season and have made an immediate impact.
- Magdalen Simon is second on the team in scoring at 11.5 ppg and just scored 11 against a tough Denison squad
- Isa Saez-Pedraza has been efficient in limited minutes. She is second on the team with 14 steals and has scored 4.7 ppg while playing just over 12 minutes per contest
- Hannah Johnson leads the Barons with seven blocks and has earned the start in four games this season. 

Melnyk Making Moves
- Jazzlyn Melnyk sits 5th all-time in scoring, as she has scored 783 points. This weekend, she looks to pass Sarah Schriner, who sits 4th all-time with 793 points.
- Melnyk holds the program record for most assists by a Baron with 225 and now holds the program record in steals with 172.
- Her 669 rebounds are the second most in program history. Lacey Huck holds the record at 853 over her collegiate career.
- She is third in the PAC at 10.8 rebounds per game and has recorded three double doubles this season.
