The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) announced the Women's Volleyball weekly awards on Monday afternoon, and Franciscan had one player honored. Logan Hickey (Fr. Richmond, Ohio / Seton Home Study) was named PAC Newcomer of the Week.

Hickey led the Barons to a pair of PAC victories with two double doubles this week. In Tuesday's sweep against Saint Vincent, Hickey totaled 25 kills with 13 digs, one service ace, and one solo block. Hickey broke the program record on Saturday with 29 kills in a five-set triumph against Grove City. She also added 19 digs, three service aces, and two assisted blocks. Hickey is now the first Baron to reach 400 kills in a single season.

This is the fifth time that she has earned a PAC Weekly honor this season, and it is the fourth time that she has received this exact honor. 

The Barons return to action on Tuesday at Washington & Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. The Presidents beat the Barons in four sets in Steubenville earlier this season.
