Steubenville, Ohio - Franciscan Baseball released the upcoming 2026 schedule, which consists of 40 regular season contests before the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Tournament begins in early May. The Barons will be led by Head Coach
Rick Carver, who embarks upon his seventh season in Steubenville.
The Barons look to begin the season in February, as they host Pitt.-Greensburg for a doubleheader on the 28th. When it is played, it will be the first game in February at Vaccaro Field in program history.
The Barons then head south for warmer weather in Fort Pierce, Florida for their annual spring break trip. They will play six varsity games, as well as some JV contests while in the Sunshine State.
With Hiram joining the PAC this season, the Barons will now play 22 PAC games in the form of 11 nine-inning doubleheaders. This season, the Barons will host Westminster, Thiel, Grove City, Allegheny, and Chatham
The top six teams in the conference standings will make the PAC Tournament. It will be played at Washington & Jefferson on May 6th-9th. Franciscan is looking to return to the PAC Tournament for the first time since 2021.
