The Latest
- Franciscan took down Penn State Shenango on December 19th by a score of 89-78.
- Sawyer Butler led the Barons with 28 points, and Zach Oliver had a double-double with 22 points and 12 rebounds, including four made three-point field goals.
- The Barons are 2-0 in neutral site contests this season, as they look to remain perfect against Stevenson on the campus of Juniata on Monday.
- Depending on Monday's results, they will take on Juniata or Central Penn on Tuesday.

Scouting the Mustangs
- They come into this matchup on a two-game winning streak, as they last played on the 16th in a 75-68 win over Wilson.
- Their lone loss came in overtime to East. Mennonite.
- They have been very stingy on defense, as they allow just 62.9 ppg.
- Myles Jackson is one of four players to average double-digit points, and he was held scoreless in their lone loss.
- The Barons have never played any of their three possible opponents in this tournament before in program history.  

The Big Men
- Zach Oliver picked up his second double-double of the season against Penn State Shenango after missing nearly a month.
- Oliver leads the Barons in rebounding at 8.7 per game.
- Karl Yonkeu and Volodymyr Trotsko have also been consistent rebounders for the Barons while providing valuable minutes inside this season.

Big Time Butler
- He has scored 20+ points in 25 games so far in his collegiate career. He has scored 30+ points five times, including each of the first two games of the 2025-26 season.
- Sawyer Butler sits 16th with 1,050 points on the all-time scoring ranks that go back to 1947. He is closing in on the Division III all-time leading rebounder, Matt Trent '20, with 1,060.
- Butler broke the program record for most free throws made by a Baron. He sits at 298 makes while shooting 84.4%. 
- His 142 steals are the third most by a Baron all-time. Sean Hickey is second with 158, and Josh Zimmerman holds the record with 259. His 3.62 steals per game this season are the 4th most in NCAA Division III and lead the PAC.
- His 25.4 points per game would be the highest ever single-season average by a Baron, and he is currently tied for 4th across all of Division III in scoring.
- He is in the Top 5 among all three levels of NCAA in scoring.

The Three Ball
- Four Barons are averaging over 1.7 made three-point field goals per game this season. As a team, they average 9.3 makes from beyond the arc per game, the third-most in the PAC.
- Anthony Covetta leads the way with 16 makes. He has made more threes than twos (10) so far this season.
- Covetta made a season-high five treys against Penn State Shenango for his first 20+ point performance with 23.
