How It HappenedÂ
  Franciscan hosted Washington & Jefferson, the reigning PAC Champions, who is also currently receiving votes in the national Top 25 poll on Saturday. The size and talent of W&J took over late in this one for them to move to 2-0 in PAC play.

  The Barons controlled the pace of the game in the early going, but the length of the Presidents led to the Barons settling for a lot of three point field goals. The Barons shot 1-8 from beyond the arc in the first half, as the Presidents were able to take a 10-point lead. Shots began to fall in the second quarter, but the Presidents started to dominate the paint on the offensive end. Franciscan scored 17 points in the second quarter, but Washington & Jefferson scored 22 to extend their lead at halftime. The Presidents were able to control the pace of the game the rest of the way, as they added 45 second half points to secure victory.Â

Up NextÂ
Franciscan will know take some time off for Christmas break. They return to action in 2026, as they head to Saint Vincent on January 7th. The Barons are in search of their first win over the Bearcats in a pivotal PAC South matchup to start the new year.Â
