The Latest
- Franciscan concluded the regular season at home on Saturday, as they fell to Geneva on Senior Day by a score of 57-48. That is the fewest points the Barons have scored in a regular season game since last season against Chatham.

- Sawyer Butler led the Barons with 14 points, and Josh Zimmerman added 10 points. That resulted in the Barons earning the #6 seed in this year's PAC Championship Tournament.

Scouting the Presidents
- W&J enters the postseason on a three-game winning streak. They beat Allegheny, Waynesburg, and Thiel, three teams that did not make the postseason, to climb up to the #3 seed and earn home-court advantage.

- Nathan Plotner leads the Presidents in scoring and rebounding at 14.5 ppg and 9.9 rpg.

- The Presidents average 80.1 ppg, second-best in the PAC this season. They lead the PAC in team field goal percentage at 47.9%. They are known for their offense, but they are no slouches on defense as well. They lead the PAC in steals per game (11.96) and blocks per game (5.32). Their +7.8 margin of scoring is second-best to Chatham in the PAC this year.

- The Presidents are in search of their 11th PAC Championship in program history. They have recently won the title as well, as this would be their second in the last four seasons if they can win three more games in a row.

History vs. Presidents
- The Barons are 5-11 all-time against the Presidents in a series that dates back to Dwight D. Eisenhower's term.

- Three of those five wins happened in Washington, Pa. The most recent was last season, by a score of 66-61. Josh Zimmerman led the charge for the Barons in that win with 22 points and nine rebounds. They held the Presidents to 32.9% shooting, including 2-18 from beyond the arc.

- This is the first time that these two teams have met in the PAC Tournament.

PAC Tournament History
- The Barons are 2-2 in the PAC Tournament over the years, as this is their third trip to the tournament since the 2020-21 season.

- Franciscan's last win in the tournament came on February 21, 2022, by a score of 108-89 over Bethany. Six Barons scored in double-digits, as they made 14 three-point field goals in this offensive outburst. Sean Hickey led the way with 16 points. The only Barons that are on this year's team that played in that game were Josh Zimmerman and Nicholas Allienello. Zimmerman scored 14 points and dished out seven assists.

- Sean Hickey holds the program record for most points by a Baron in a PAC Playoff game. He scored 41 points at #1 Westminster in the 2020-21 Quarterfinal

- The Barons are in search of their first PAC Championship Title.

He also added five steals for good measure.
