Orlando, Fla. - Rain canceled this morning's match against Calvin, but the Franciscan was able to get this evening's match complete.
Singles
Singles were played first tonight, as the Barons used 12 players in this evening's non-conference match.
Hazel Mistry,
Elizabeth Swift,
Anabel Stickney,
Elizabeth Suess,
Anna Glen, and
Helen Leon played singles for the Barons. Leon had the closest match, as she fell 6-4, 6-1 at #6 singles.
Doubles
Kina Ehlers and
Claire Cardie paired up once again at the #1 spot and battled to a 6-4 loss.
Olivia Colby and
Lucy Rochat fell 6-4 at the #2 spot, and
Hannah Franzone and
Catherine Grubb fell at #3.
Next Up
Franciscan will have the day off on Tuesday to recover and prepare for their match on Wednesday. They will take on Sweet Briar College on the clay courts at the USTA center at 6:00 p.m. This will be the first time in program history that the Barons take on the Vixen.
