Franciscan 2, Grove City 5

Wheeling, W.Va. - This match was moved indoors due to cold temperatures. The Barons battled one of the top PAC opponents in a close match, but the Wolverines took the win today.

Doubles
     The Barons lost the doubles point with losses at #2 and #3, but that did not stop Christopher Yvars and Aaron Heinlein from battling at #1. They led 3-0 early, and then it was tied up at 6-6. The tiebreaker was back and forth until the Barons won back to back points at 12-10. 

Singles
    Heinlein and Yvars kept up their strong play in doubles. Heinlein won 6-4, 6-2 at the #2 spot. Yvars won 6-3, 7-6 at #4. Unfortunately, those were the only two wins for the Barons, as they fell 5-2.

Next Up
    Franciscan will have the weekend off, as they return to action on Wednesday when they host the Titans of Westminster in a PAC match. The Barons beat them 8-1 last season, as they have won seven straight matches against them over the years.
