The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) announced their baseball All-Conference awards on Wednesday.
Wade Stoehr (Sr. Lewisville, Ohio / Monroe Central) and
Josiah Bodie (R-Fr. Pawleys Island, S.C. / Waccamaw) were named Second Team All-PAC
Â
For the second time in his career, Stoehr earned All-Conference recognition. He joins former teammates, Brendan Burke and Jacob Watson, as the only three Barons in program history to be named All-PAC at least twice. Stoehr batted .376 while playing in all 38 games and leading the team in RBIs with 36. He had 53 hits, including a team-high 17 doubles. Stoehr scored 33 runs while holding an OPS of .977. On the mound, he picked up a pair of saves and led the Barons with four wins over 22.2 innings of work. Last season, he earned Honorable Mention All-PAC honors.
Â
Bodie led the Barons with a .394 batting average which was fourth-best among all players in the PAC. He led the Barons in hits (56), runs (38), and OPS (1.039). The center fielder also held a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage in 120 chances this season. He is the first Baron to earn All-PAC honors in his first full season since Joshua Speaker in the 2021 season. Bodie is a large part of the Barons future after losing several talented seniors to graduation including Stoehr.
The PAC also announced the All-Sportsmanship Team.
Nicholas Peffer was the Baron named to this exclusive team.Â
