How It Happened
In game one of the final PAC doubleheader of the season, It was a pitching duel through the first three innings. The Cougars scored the first run of the day in the fourth to set the score at 1-0. Cole ran into some problems in the fifth, as the Cougars plated five runs that inning to take charge of this one. The Barons had just five hits but had several opportunities to play their way back into this game. They left 11 runners on base, as this game was called after seven innings.
At the Plate
- Franzonello was the lone Baron to have two hits.
- Ferroni had one hit and a sacrifice bunt.
- Fusco drew two walks.
On the Mound

Jacob Cole pitched 4+ innings with four earned runs.
- Gildehaus pitched the final 2.2 innings and didn't allow a run until the seventh.

How It Happened
Wade Stoehr took the ball in game two. This would be his first start of the season after starting in six games in 2024. The Courgars were able to keep up their strong offensive play, as they took a 4-0 lead after one inning.
In the third,
John Fusco doubled in a
Holden Armstrong and
Josiah Bodie with two outs to cut the deficit in half. Chatham's offense could not be contained, as they added seven more runs over the next two innings.
In the sixth,
David Ferroni doubles in
Connor Lolli and Fusco in his final collegiate at bat. A large, talented graduating class will be missed greatly, but the future is bright for Barons' baseball.
At the Plate
- Armstrong had two of Franciscan's six hits.
- Fusco and Ferroni each had two RBIs.
- Fusco's 32 RBIs are the most by a freshman in program history.
- With 56 hits, Bodie ties the program record for most hits in a season.
On the Mound
- Stoehr struck out a pair over four innings of work.
