The Latest
- Franciscan secured another winning season last year with a 13-11 mark under first-year Head Coach Jen Hickey.
- Sara Moore and Mary Jean Cadman earned Honorable Mention All-PAC accolades.
- The Barons held a 3-7 record in PAC play, as they missed postseason play but look to make it in 2025.
- Franciscan was picked to finish fourth in the PAC South Division via the PAC Coaches' Poll last week. The top four teams from the North and South Divisions will make the PAC Championship Tournament.

Scouting the Foes
- The Barons have played Baldwin Wallace and Muskingum before, but they are in search of their first win all-time against both of them.
- Muskingum finished sixth in the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) last season, while Baldwin Wallace finished seventh.
- This will be the first time that they take on Concordia of Chicago. The Cougars went 11-15 with a 3-10 conference record in 2024.

Roller Coaster Ride
- The Barons had just three sweeps last season out of their 13 wins. Hopefully, they can have a few more stress-free wins for the Franciscan faithful this season.
- Also, the team will get to visit Cedar Point amusement park after Saturday's contest.

Graduating Class
- The Barons lost several key contributors to graduation from a season ago.
- Sara Moore, as mentioned before, was named All-PAC. She served as the starting libero and led the team in digs for each of the last four seasons. Meghan Hickey also added 100 digs a season ago.
- Gabrielle Disselkamp and Elizabeth Luebbers were both major contributors to the offense. Disselkamp was second on the team in points, and Luebbers was fourth.
- Grace Wallace has been a primary setter for the Barons in each of the last three seasons while accumulating nearly 2,000 set assists. Mary Smart split time at setter last season to give her some valuable collegiate experience.

Can Count on Cadman
- Mary Jean Cadman is entering her fourth season as a Baron and brings a wealth of experience from her 54 collegiate matches played.
-She enters the season ninth in program history in kills with 462. She is closing in on Amy O'Keefe '15, who sits in eighth with 479 kills.
- Cadman is also 10th in points with 512.0. With a good weekend, she will likely pass Meghan Bayer '20, who sits in ninth with 545.0 points.

Sophomores Stepping Up
-Kaitlan Hickey and Sarah Clyde are a pair of players who appeared in every match last season as true freshmen.
- Hickey was second on the team with 238 digs, and she led the team with 35 service aces last season.
-Clyde returns as a major presence in the middle. She led the Barons in blocks in 2024 with 49.0. Her 117.5 points were the sixth most on the team as well.
