How It HappenedÂ
The Barons moved their game time up to get in and out of Greenville, Pa before the impending winter storm arrived. The first four minutes was all you needed to watch to understand how this game was going to go. Well after the first media timeout, the Tomcats still hadn't made a shot from the field. Their only points were from the free throw line. The Barons had firm control of the game from the defensive end.
The attack on the offensive end came from a variety of players throughout the contest. It was impossible for the defense to focus on any single player. Someone was getting free and punishing the Tomcats for helping anywhere. Forty minutes of leads to four different players scoring in double digits and not a single player registering over 30 minutes for the game. 10 different players saw at least 10 minutes of play for the Barons.Â
Inside the NumbersÂ
-
Anthony Covetta led the Barons with 16 points off 50% shooting including 3-5 from 3pt
- Rose-Burton's 12 is a season high
- Oliver registered another 7 rebounds to stay atop the PAC in rebounding
