How It Happened
On the last day of January, the Barons hosted the Terriers of Hiram. This was the first PAC matchup between these two teams, as Hiram is in their first season in the conference. They are not an unfamiliar foe, as they have played each other once in each of the previous two seasons, with the Terriers coming out on top. Today, Both teams came out firing on all cylinders. The Barons had the upper hand early. They were able to hold an 18-14 lead after the first quarter, with nine of those points coming from beyond the arc. The Terriers made their move in the second quarter. They outscored the Barons by seven to take a lead of 34-31 at the break. The Terriers' best quarter for scoring has been the third quarter, and they proved that again today with 26 points to expand the lead. Maria McCallen heated up for the Barons, as she had a big double double. The Barons could not cool down the Terriers, as they shot 53.4% from the floor to score 86 points in their win.

Inside the Numbers
- McCallen led the Barons with 24 points.
- Melnyk had her 11th double double with 20 points and 16 rebounds.
- Jannuzi kept up her great offensive season with 19 points.
- The Barons won the turnover battle by nine.
