How It HappenedÂ
The Barons went on the road last night to face the Bethany Bison. After allowing their first goals of the season at home and the first since their opener against Grove City, they got back on track holding their opponents scoreless by defeating the Bison 1-0.
 Â
Ryan Walters came off the bench to grab the game-winner in the 33'. She was assisted by English and
Sofia Walsh.
Picking up the win puts the Barons a game ahead of St. Vincent in second place and five points ahead of Allegheny. With only a few games remaining they are in a strong position to claim the #2 and stay in the running for the top seed. Each of these positions will earn them a quarterfinal bye and home field for the semifinals.
