- The Barons lost a thriller that could be a candidate for best game of the season in the PAC
- Geneva defeated them 87-83, despite a furious comeback that saw the Barons cut the lead from seven to two in the final ten seconds of the game
- Jazzlyn Melnyk turned in one of the greatest performances in Barons history, scoring a career-high 29 points and grabbing a career-high 21 rebounds
- Her performance was the third 20-20 game in program history
- Melnyk is now nine points away from becoming the third Baron to reach 1,000 points
- She is also three rebounds away from becoming the all-time program leader

- The Cougars have the fourth-ranked scoring offense and second-best defense in the conference

- Jazzlyn Melnyk has passed Abby Baierl '20 for third all-time in scoring, as she has scored 991 points
- She looks to become only the third Baron to ever reach the 1,000 point mark
- Melnyk holds the program record for most assists by a Baron with 267 and holds the program record in steals with 205
- Her 851 rebounds are the second most in program history. Lacey Huck holds the record at 853 over her collegiate career
- She has now moved into second in three-pointers made with 110, trailing Abby Baierl with 125 for first
- She is now third in field goals made with 392, trailing Coach Iliana Spoelman (Gonzales) for second with 420
- This season, she leads the PAC with 11.8 rebounds per game and has recorded 12 double-doubles
