-  The Pioneers went 8-8 last season and are .500 at 2-2 so far this season.
- They are 1-2 against PAC schools this season. 
- They beat Thiel by a score of 23-0. They lost to Westminster and Chatham.
- Freshman Jeff McKnight leads them in scoring with 10 points (7g,3a).

Matchup History
- The Barons are in search of their first win all-time against the Pioneers.
- In each of the last three seasons, they have had close battles.
- Last season, Marietta won 18-10. Joseph James and Dominic Scordino scored three goals apiece.

- Joseph James has accumulated 214 points so far. That is the second most in program history. Jonas McCaig '18 holds the program record with 217. 
- He has 145 goals in just 31 games played. With his fourth goal against Muskingum, he passed McCaig to set the program record for goals in a career
- James is also second in program history with 69 assists. McCaig holds the record with 75 over his four-year career. 
- His mark of 5.67 goals per game is fourth-most in NCAA Division III so far this season. He is also among the Top 10 in points per game. 

New Faces Making a Major Impact
- John Kirk keeps racking up the saves early on in his career.
- His 19.00 saves per game are tied for 6th most in NCAA Division III. 
- JT Sebestyen scored his first collegiate goal in the game against Muskingum.

Offensive Attack
- The Barons are third in the PAC in goals per game at 14.33.
- They are fourth in assists per game (7.00), as they are assisting on nearly half of their goals.
