The Latest
- The Barons return north to compete in their first game at home. They were supposed to play Penn St. Shenango earlier this week, but that game was postponed till late April
- Zachary Cook led the Barons in their six-game showcase, batting .444 with eight hits, two doubles, and six RBIs. 
- A close game against Washington College resulted in 10 runs scored and 11 hits for the Barons. Josiah Bodie, who went 3-for-5, and Zachary Cook, who went 3-for-4, both recorded doubles in the game. 
- In the matchup against Lasell University, the Barons recorded 11 walks and two stolen bases. 

Scouting the Titans
- Winning seven out of the last 11 games, the Titans currently have six batters hitting over .300 and have scored 60 runs against their competition. 
- Westminster was the 2025 PAC runner-up after losing to Grove City 8-1 in the championship game. 
- In the 2025 season, the Titans went 19-22 in their overall record, with an 11-9 conference record. The Titans had a team batting average of .274. 
- Third baseman Parker Lyons was named All-PAC First Team last season. 

Matchup History
- The Barons are in search of their first win against the Titans since 2022. 
- This is the first time since 2023, that these two teams will play in Steubenville.
- Last season, Westminster won 15-1 and 7-3 in the PAC doubleheader

Cooking Up Something Special 
- During their six games in Florida, Zachary Cook recorded a batting average of .444. Cook had eight hits, two doubles, six RBIs, and two runs. 
- Cook brought in 3 RBIs during the Baron's matchup against Washington College. He went 3-for-4 with two runs that game. 
- He also had two games with multiple hits and two games with multiple RBIs. 

Barons on the Bases
- The Barons had 45 total bases during their Florida showcase. Zachary Cook recorded 10 total bases, and Josiah Bodie had seven. 
- Kyle Schiwall has reached base in four consecutive games, and Colin Killian has a streak of three games. 
- The Barons also stole seven bases throughout the week. Nicholas Peffer and David Kempf both have two stolen bases. 
- The Barons also recorded 11 walks during their matchup against Lasell University. Michael Manocchio has recorded five walks throughout the week, with Josiah Bodie and Holden Armstrong both having three. 

New Faces Making Major Impacts
- Along with Zachary Cook, Matteo Lindia has made his mark on the Franciscan outfield.
- Lindia has batted .313 and knocked in three runs through six games this season.
- Zavier Zografos and Xavier Franzonello have thrown a pair of scoreless relief appearances. Seamus Welsh threw one scoreless inning of work. 

Home Sweet Home
- Last season, the Barons batted .333 at Vaccaro Field, nearly 50 points higher than their road numbers
- The Barons scored 7.2 runs per game at home, two runs more than they did in road or neutral site contests.
- That led to a 7-8 record at home.
