The Latest
- The Barons earned their first conference win on Wednesday over Thiel
- With a 5-3 final score, the Barons recorded eight hits, two of which were solo home runs for Janey Winner and Hayley Cook. 
- In game two, the Barons recorded four doubles out of their 10 hits throughout the game. 
- Elizabeth Forster also recorded a solo home run in the second game, but the Barons were unable to make a comeback against the Tomcats, losing 8-4. 

Scouting the Presidents 
- The Presidents are currently 1-3 in the PAC conference, after losing two to Grove City on Wednesday. They also currently have an overall record of 5-9. 
- With a team batting average of .259, the Presidents have scored 34 runs in their 14 games. 
- Presidents' outfielder Julia DiPietro-Harvey currently leads her team with a .365 batting average. 
- In the 2025 season, the Presidents had a 13-18 overall record and a 8-12 record in the conference. 

Matchup History
- The Barons won against the Presidents last season, winning 6-5 in the bottom of the 8th inning. 
- Pitcher Hayley Cook recorded the win for the Barons as well as went 3-for-4 with two doubles for the Barons.

Winner Whacks Her First Homer
- Janey Winner recorded her first collegiate home run during the first game against Thiel on Wednesday.
- Winner also went 2-for-4 in the second game and recorded three of the nine runs for the Barons in both games. 
- Winner was the starting pitcher for the Barons in game two and recorded one strikeout in four innings. 

Cook Crushes One Over
- Hayley Cook also recorded her first home run this season during game one 
- Cook went 2-for-3 in game one and recorded two of the Barons' five runs. Cook also had a double in game two. 
- Cook recorded two home runs last year for the Barons and is now tied for 10th for the career home runs record. 
- Also earning the win for the Barons, Cook pitched all seven innings and recorded one strikeout in game one. 

Batting All Around
- Elizabeth Forster also sent one over the fence for her third home run this season. Forster went 3-for-7 in Wednesday's doubleheader with a double and a home run in the second game.
- Smaciarz extends her current hitting streak to seven games, after earning three hits between both games on Wednesday.
- Janele Winner went 2-for-3 in game two, and Elizabeth Maxwell recorded two hits for the day with a double.
