How It Happened 
    As the season draws to a close the Barons are in a prime position to make the postseason for the first time in program history. The leathery bump in the way... the Gators. 
    Each program was sitting at three wins and on the edge of playoff position. This game was playing out to be a pivotal matchup for who gets to fight for seeding while the other gets to fight to stay alive. 
    The Barons stormed out of the gate and showed what their fully healthy attack line can do. By halftime they led 11-4. The mission from that point on was avoid risky plays and costly mistakes to sail through the end and grab the win. Having a star goalkeeper goes a long way in that goal and John didn't disappoint. John racked up 19 saves to stave off any Gator comeback and bring the Barons home.

- The Barons won the faceoff battle 18-11
- James led all scorers with 6 goals and 3 assists

Up Next
The Barons are home Saturday, April 18th at 1pm to face the Chatham Cougars. To honor the late Luke Reimer, they will be retiring his Jersey. The retirement ceremony will begin at 12:40. We would love for all who are able to attend.
