How It Happened
The Barons traveled to Penn State Beaver for a non-conference double header on Tuesday.
Franciscan started the game off strong, gaining one run in the first inning and two in the second. The Barons were able to prevent the Lions from scoring until the fourth inning.
The Lions were only able to score one more run for the rest of the game. Franciscan went on to earn six more. Four of these runs were in the seventh and final inning.
Despite one home run from Beaver, Franciscan was able to beat the Lions in the first game of the day 9-5.
Senior Jeremy Sagun pitched the entire game.
At the Plate
-Cook was 2 for 3 with 2 runs
-Hunton went 2 for 4 with 2 runs and an RBI
-Armstrong was 1 for 3 with 3 RBI's
On the Mound
-starter Sagun pitched 7.0 innings allowing 2 earned runs off 7 hits

How It Happened
The Barons lead the game until the sixth inning. Going into the seventh, the Barons were in the lead 8-5.
The Lions had a sudden comeback. After scoring five runs, they earned the lead for the first time of the game.
With only one more opportunity for the Barons at bat, Beaver was leading 10-8.
Franciscan was unable to score any more runs, concluding the game at the end of the top of the seventh inning.
In the second game of the day, Beaver beat the Barons 10-8.
