How It HappenedÂ
For the first time since joining the PAC, the Barons have made it to the postseason. They enter as the #5 seed and were on the road this past Saturday to the face the #5 Westminster Titans.
In the regular season matchup, the Barons were tied at halftime then had a scoring drought in the second half. This Saturday was a near repeat of that game. The Barons came out of the gates hot but cooled off in the second half.
The loss on the road concludes the 2026 season. It's a disappointing reality that all athletes must endure; only one team finishes their season on a win. Every other team must endure the bitter taste of defeat at least once.
After the excitement of competing in the PAC quarterfinals and the sting of falling short wears off, the 2026 season was in all a remarkable success. The men endured waves of emotions both high and low, and found a way to band together and adapt. Looking forward for this group is very exciting. They lose some key pieces both on and off the field but retain a large chunk of young talent that contributed this season.
You can see what coach Pete had to say about his team and their season down below.
Inside the NumbersÂ
-Joe James led all scorers with 6 goals
-The Barons were near even in the face off circle winning 16 of 35
-Pio Kirk had a game-high 6 assists
