- The Barons lost two to the Waynesburg Yellow Jackets on Tuesday.

- Olivia Linden and Hayley Cook each recorded three strikeouts on the mound. 

Scouting the Gators
- The Gators have five wins in their 18 games this season, with two wins in the PAC. 
- The Gators have a team batting average of .278 and currently have four batters hitting over .300. 
- Freshman utility player Jayla Jones leads the Gators with a .439 batting average and 12 RBIs this season. 
- Last season, the Gators had a 23-16 overall record and a 13-7 record in the PAC. 
- Senior outfielder Samantha Phillips was named First Team All-PAC last season.

Matchup History
- The Barons are looking for their first win against the Gators since they entered the PAC conference in the 2023 season. 
- In last season's matchup, Hayley Cook recorded a home run, and Elizabeth Maxwell went 2-for-3 in the loss. 

Adjusting to the Yellow Jackets

- Madison Kozares and Janele Winner each recorded a hit during the game.  
- Janele Winner also recorded two stolen bases for the Barons, stealing five so far this season. 
- Hayley Cook recorded three strikeouts in the matchup as starting pitcher in game two.
