How It Happened
    The Barons trailed 1-0 heading into the third inning. The Yellow Jackets were able to plate three runs to take a 4-0 lead. In the top of the fourth, the Barons manufactured a run with a couple of hits and a walk. Emma Clow drove in Elizabeth Maxwell on a groundout. Unfortunately, that was the only run that the Barons scored, and the Yellow Jackets won game one.

At the Plate
- Four Barons had a hit.
- They drew three walks
- Janey Winner and Abigail Savage stole one base.

In the Circle
-Starter Olivia Linden allowed four earned runs over 2.2 innings of work.
- Janey Winner closed out the game in the circle with zero earned runs over 3.1 innings.

How It Happened
The bats remained hot for the Yellow Jackets, as they built a 6-0 lead after three innings. Cooke drove in Smaciarz in the fourth to get the Barons on the board. Waynesburg was able to close it out with a three-run fifth inning

At the Plate
- Cook went 2-2 with the lone RBI.
- The Barons did not strike out, but did not draw a walk.
- Janele Winner stole two bases

In the Circle
-Starter Haley Cook struck out three over 4.1 innings of work.
- Janele Winner made her third appearance of the season to close it out. 

Up Next
The Barons return home to take on Allegheny on Thursday. The PAC doubleheader will begin at 3:00 p.m. The Barons are in search of their first win against the Gators. They have played a doubleheader against them every year since 2023, when they joined the conference.
