The Latest

- After another strong 3-0 win against the University of Pittsburgh Bobcats on Tuesday, women's volleyball is at a 5-3 overall record for this season.

- With that win, Franciscan is now on a four-game winning streak.

- The Barons had a total of 306 kills this season, dominating their opponents, who have 245.

Scouting the Bullets, Falcons, and Tartans

- With a 3-1 win against Southern Virginia University this past Saturday, Gettysburg University is also on a roll this season. The Bullets are currently at an overall score of 6-2.

- Leading on offense for the Bullets are Clare Farrell with 98 kills and Halle Feth with 155 assists. On defense, Nala Shearer leads with 174 digs.

- The Messiah Falcons are currently on a seven-game winning streak with an overall score of 7-1. This includes their most recent win was against Notre Dame of Maryland University this past Wednesday.

- At Messiah, Makenzie Adams leads on both offense and defense with 105 kills and 128 digs. Her teammate, Clara Conner, leads the team in assists with 305.

- After eight games played by the Carnegie Mellon Tartans, they are also at an overall score of 7-1.

- The Tartans' offense is led by Kate Giang with 103 kills and Dani Lee with 130 assists this season, while their teammate Zoe Gavros leads the defense with 102 digs.

Rising Through the Ranks

- During the last game against the Bobcats, Logan Hickey and Anna Guard led the team by making a total of 34 kills.

- Along with the offense, Meg Smart led with 19 assists, while her teammate Reese Anderson finished with 17.

- On defense, the Hickey sisters Kaitlan and Logan completed 27 digs for their team.

First Matches

- It is the first time that the Barons will play against the Bullets and Falcons.

- While neither of those opponents at the Grantham Quad-Match are in the Presidents' Athletic Conference, it is a great opportunity for the Barons to show not only its skill, but its faith and sportsmanship.
