Franciscan University Barons Athletics

Vernau has been an assistant coach since 2021. 
    He played for Franciscan for four years from 2017 through the 2020-21 season. Vernau was part of the 2018-19 team that went 13-14 and earned a bid into the ECAC tournament. He graduated with a Bachelor's in Accounting in 2021 and a Master's in Business Administration in October of 2022. He now works full-time as an accountant.
