The 2024 season will be Bain's second season as Head Coach and fifth season overall as part of the coaching staff.
The Barons played a very difficult non-conference slate to begin the year. They picked up all three of their wins in PAC play with the Barons scoring 20+ goals in each of them. Joanna Hilkert was named Second Team All-PAC, and Theresa Lyle and Brooke Biagi earned Honorable Mention All-PAC honors.
In her first season as Head Coach, she kept up to the high standards set in years past by making it to the PAC Semifinals and holding a winning record. Four players were named All-PAC, including PAC Goalie of the Year Rose Kane and First Team All-PAC honoree Grace Deegan. After the conclusion of the 2023 season the Interim tag was dropped from her position, and she was also named Intramural and Club Coordinator for Franciscan Athletics.
Franciscan University announced on Wednesday June 1, 2022 that
Brittany Bain will serve as the Interim Head Coach for the Lady Barons Lacrosse team.
Bain is a 2019 graduate of Franciscan after a successful three year career as a goalkeeper for the Lady Barons. She is the program leader in saves (474), saves per game (10.77), and wins (23). She has served as an Assistant Coach now for three seasons, as she started in the 2020 season.

Maura Carapellotti and her work over the last ten years that has raised our women's lacrosse program to where it is," said Bain. "I'm honored and excited for the opportunity to be at Franciscan and prepare our athletes for the upcoming season."
