The Short Story: The Barons set the school record for most goals in a single game with a 9-0 victory over Hilbert on Saturday. 

 
How it Happened: 

• Nick Miller & JP Bobak connected twice during the match the first coming in the 18th minute and the second coming in the 57th minute of play. 

• Kevin Hermann was able to find the back of the net off an assist from Mikey Irvin in the 21st minute. 

• Sebastian Koehler scored in the 56th minute to give the Barons a 3-0 lead in the second half.  

• Mikey Irvin turned in a four point performance for the second time in a row with one goal and two assists. 

• Joe Muldoon scored twice, the first goal coming in the 69th and the second came in the 82nd minute of action.  Muldoon also assisted on a goal giving him five points on the day. 

• Nick Cross was also a multi-goal scorer finding the back of the net in 76th and 79th minute.  It is the second consecutive game Cross has scored. 

Inside the Box Score: 

• The nine goals by the Barons is the new school record for goals in a game, beating the previous mark of 8, most recently done two seasons ago against Hilbert. 

• The Barons dominated shots 44-4.  25 of those shots were on target.  

• Brian Gaughan won his 11th game in net.  This win ties him with Thomas Dosedel for most career wins in program history at 23.   

Up Next: 

• The Barons will return to the Upper Soccer Field for one last home match on Saturday, October 26th with kickoff starting at 1:00PM.  We will honor our senior players prior to kick off.
