All-Time Series Against Alfred State
- Franciscan is 1-1 all-time against Alfred State, with their last meeting coming in the 2015-16 season.
- In the Pioneers lone trip to Steubenville, Franciscan lost 81-71. Justin Wallace scored a team high 20 points to lead the Pioneers, and Dante Jordan recorded a double double with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Keoni Sablan scored a game high 23 points to lead the Barons, and John Paul Dombrowski pulled down 16 rebounds.
- In 2014, the Barons beat Alfred State on their home court 64-59. The Barons were led by the combination of Moses Sullivan with 19 points and Jacob Divens with 18 points. The Pioneers struggled from three point land as they would go 4-18 in the defeat.
Scouting Franciscan
- Junior Sean Hickey scored 26 points in Wednesday's loss to Medaille, one short of his career high, while he tied the Franciscan individual game record for six made threes in the game.
- Travis Lien has been a good spark to the Baron offense, since returning from studying abroad in Austria. He is averaging 18.5 ppg and 6 rpg in his first two game of the season.
Scouting Alfred State
- The Pioneer offense runs through the sophomore duo of Ryan Gentile (15.6 ppg, 8th in the AMCC) and Josh Reding (13.5 ppg). Reding is also 4th in the AMCC at 3.7 assist per game.
- The Pioneers offense has been scuffling of late, by averaging 59.7 ppg in their last three games.
