STEUBENVILLE, OH - Franciscan returns home after a rough two game stand in Buffalo over the weekend. The Bobcats were in New York as well over the weekend as they defeated Alfred State, but lost to D'Youville, whom the Barons lost to as well.

All-Time Series Against Hilbert

• Franciscan is 8-15 all-time against Pitt.-Greensburg, with a loss earlier in the season against them.
• In the loss in November, Sophomore Guard JoJo France had a great night for the Bobcats. He scored 28 points as he went 5-10 from three and 9-10 from the free throw line. Seigfreid added 17 points, and Johnson scored 14 for the Bobcats. The Barons had a four point lead with 6:25 to play in the first half, the Bobcats would go on a run to take a 10 point lead at the break and not looking back as they won big 85-68. Joe Schriner led the Barons with 14 points.
• Before that meeting the Barons had won the previous six matchups against the Bobcats.

Scouting Franciscan

• Senior Matt Trent has found his shooting touch of late, as he is averaging 16.3 ppg with one made three a game over the last three games. He has scored in double digits every night since a disappointing three points in the season opener.
• Sean Hickey has continued to be the Barons go to guy as he is averaging 16.1 ppg while shooting 41.8% from deep. He also has been working extremely hard on the defensive end, as he has a team high 23 steals this season.
• Travis Lien has showed that he can fill a box score as he is averaging 17.3 ppg and 7.2 rpg. He had a Franciscan season high four blocks in the loss to Hilbert on Monday.
• In three of the Barons four losses this month, opponents have scored 90+ points. Opponents are shooting 46.9% against the Barons this season.

Scouting Pitt.-Greensburg

• The preseason #7 team in the conference has surprised many this season so far as the Bobcats have a firm hold of the #2 seed in the AMCC at the moment. 
• UPG averages 82.6 ppg, 2nd most in the AMCC, thanks to three starters averaging over 15 points a night. Matt Johnson leads the way at 16.8 ppg, JoJo France averages 15.9 and Cam Seigfreid scores 15.3.
• JoJo France has been leading the way of late by averaging 21.0 ppg over the last three games.
