The Barons lost a tough one to Pitt.-Greensburg Wednesday night 79-84, with a shot to tie it in the final seconds. Pitt.-Bradford comes to town with ony one win on the season.

All-Time Series Against Pitt.-Bradford
- Franciscan is 5-18 all-time against Pitt.-Bradford, including a big 98-68 win in December this season.
- In December's first meeting, Franciscan scored a season high of 98 points. Four Barons scored in double figures on the night, led by Joe Schriner's 21 points. Sean Hickey added 18 points while making six three point field goals, tying a Franciscan single game record. The Barons shot 50.0% from three as they attempted a season high 32 three pointers on the night. Nick Carmichael scored 24 points to lead the Panthers on the night. Justin Kusiappouh and Gavin Boggs added 18 and 11 points respectively.Â
- Franciscan has won the last five meetings with Pitt.-Bradford, with the Panthers last win coming in Steubenville on 1/28/17. The Panthers won 79-71, with Evan Greening scoring 23 points to lead them to victory over the Barons.Â
Scouting Franciscan
- Matt Trent has been an offensive bright spot of late, as he is averaging 19.0 ppg over the last three games. Trent is currently 24th all-time in scoring in Franciscan history with 932 points in his career.
- Travis Lien has clearly proved that he is one of the most dynamic young players in the AMCC. He missed the first semester of play, while studying abroad in Austria, but he is now leading the Barons in scoring at 18.1 ppg since returning in January.
- The Franciscan defense has had a tough go of it during their three game losing streak. Opponents have scored 89.3 ppg in the Barons last three losses.
Scouting Pitt.-Bradford
- Nick Carmichael has been the Panthers most consistent scorer this season, as he is currently averaging 11.7 ppg. Justin Kusiappouh is second on the team with 10.2 ppg, but he has missed the last six games.
- Freshman Dylan Meyer has started to find his offensive touch, as he has scored in double figures in each of their last five games. He is averaging 13.8 ppg over that stretch.
- The Panthers offense is averaging 65.2 ppg, the fewest in the AMCC, not surprisingly they have the worst field goal and three point shooting percentages in the AMCC so far this season.
