How It Happened 
    Franciscan took an early 1-0 lead with a goal from freshmen Tania Davidson assisted by Kaitrin O'Leary. The goal came seconds after a Franciscan corner kick. Franciscan would stay on the attack the entire rest of the game even though they had the lead. The Barons held Thiel to very limited opportunities, and would eventually win the game 1-0. 

Inside the Numbers  
-Mercedes Murray recorded her second shutout in as many career starts.
-Freshmen Tania Davidson now has 8 goals on the season, with 5 goals in her last 7 games.
-Kaitrin O'Leary has 4 assists on the season
-This is the fourth time in ten meetings Franciscan has shutout Thiel.

Who's Next? 
Franciscan will continue PAC play on the road at Washington & Jefferson on Saturday. The Lady Barons are in search of the first win over the Presidents, as they are 0-11-2 all-time. Last season, these two teams played to a 0-0 tie. Washington & Jefferson out shot Franciscan 14-11, but Marita Ostrich stood strong for 110 minutes without allowing a goal.
