How It HappenedÂ
The Franciscan Women's Volleyball team fell in straight sets to Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) opponent Washington & Jefferson.
The Baron were led by Renee Antonelli who posted a double double with 11 kills and 11 digs. Emily Nutter dished out assists on 20 of Franciscan's 23 kills while adding eight digs herself. The Barons defense was led by starting libero Lauren Betar who had a team high 19 digs.Â
Franciscan got off to a slow start, dropping the first set 25-11 and the second set 25-15. The Baron would play better in the third set using kills from Antonelli and Marykate Taylor to keep pace with Presidents. Washington & Jefferson would use a late run to put the third and final set out of reach, securing the 3-0 victory.Â

Who's Next?Â
The Lady Barons will travel to Westminster on Wednesday night to take on the Titans. Franciscan is 1-5 all-time against Westminster in Volleyball with the lone win coming in 2012.Â
