How It Happened 
The Franciscan Men's Lacorsse team concluded non-conference action with a loss to Westminster on Saturday. The Barons would fall by a score of 29-9. 

The Barons would hold an early 2-1 lead, as Gavin Cook and Daniel Clayton would find the back of the net for the Barons. The Titans would score six unanswered, until Gavin Cook and Michael Francis added goals, to end the quarter at 8-4. The Titans would get hot again in the second period, as they scored eight unanswered to send us to the half trailing 15-4.

The Barons would score the first goal of the second half, as William Muraski assisted Michael Francis for his second goal of the day. Cook and Francis would add another goal apiece shortly after, as the Barons cut the lead to 17-7. Daniel Clayton would also score hsi second of the day, to head to the fourth trailing 21-8.

The Titans would get the better of the Barons in the fourth quarter, but Michael Araps would score a man down goal to give Franciscan their final tally. 

Inside the Numbers 
- Michael Francis and Gavin Cook each recorded hat tricks for the Barons.
- Francis registered a team high five points.
- William Muraksi had a team high six ground balls.
- Muraksi also had a team high three caused turnovers.
- Payton Waight scored a team high five goals to lead all scorers.
- The Titans out shot the Barons 78-26.

Who's Next? 
Franciscan will begin PAC conference games next Wednesday at Washington & Jefferson. This will be the first time these two teams have met since 4/13/19. The Presidents have won all three of their previous matchups, but the Barons look to start conference play off on the right foot.
