Steubenville, Ohio- Franciscan University Athletics is holding a series of unique summer camps that will run in conjunction with the Steubenville Conferences. This combination will create a unique blend of athletics and faith-based ministry to provide each attendee an authentic Franciscan experience. 

This is the first year Franciscan Athletics has partnered with the Steubenville Conferences to hold summer camps. This year the sports camps available will be Women's Basketball (June 10-13), Men's Basketball (June 24-27), Men's Soccer (June 10-13) and Women's Soccer (June 10-13).  Each camp will be for students entering 9th-12th grades. The Athletic Department hopes to add more sports camps in the coming years.

Campers attending each sports camp will have full access to each of the events put on by the Steubenville Conferences. In addition the campers will be receive training from each sports NCAA Division III coaching staffs, as well as have interactions with current players from each team. Campers will participate in typical Franciscan training sessions and gain an understanding of a college coaching style and the culture of each program. The camp will also include a question and answer sessions with the coaching staff and current players. The Men's and Women's Basketball camps will take place at the new multipurpose outdoor courts outside of St. Thomas More Hall. The Men's and Women's Basketball camps will take place at the new turf surface on campus as well as some of the other athletic fields on campus.
