How It Happened
The Franciscan Lady Barons came out scoring early and often, as they won in dominating fashion, 1905 over Waynesburg on Tuesday afternoon. This was the last PAC home contest of the season, and the Lady Barons would go out on top.

The Lady Barons would get their first goal of the night by Grace Deegan, when Maria Hilkert found her on a great pass from behind the goal. Just a minute later, Blair Wonderly would find the back of the net for her first goal of the game. The Lady Barons would keep the offense going, as Grace Deegan scored her second to set the score at 3-0. MAria Hilkert would join the attack with her first goal of the game, and then Annie King would score a pair. Franciscan would add one more to make it a 7-0 run, when Maureen Cain scored on an assist from Teresa Dulac.

After a Waynesburg goal, freshman Riley O'Brien would score her first of the day. She then added another goal, right after the Yellow Jackets second goal. Natividad Cahill would then register her first goal of her collegiate career on an assist from O'Brien. Deegan would tally another one to send us to the half with a lead of 11-2.

The Lady Barons would open the second half up with a 5-0 run. Wonderly, Hilkert and O'Brien each scored one, and Grace Deegan added a pair. Elizabeth Dudas and Annie King would add goals in the last ten minutes of the second half. Lady Barons would win 19-5.
