How It Happened
The Franciscan Men's Soccer team won their PAC Regular Season Finale at Waynesburg on Saturday at Waynesburg 3-1. This win snaps a two game losing streak for the Barons.
Wayneburg would control the action in the first half, as they would take eight shot and Franciscan would only attempt four. Sebastian Koehler would find the back of the net for Franciscan in the 17th minute mark as he struck a beautiful ball that found the back of the net. That score would hold, as the Barons would have a 1-0 lead heading into the half.
Waynesburg would w keep up the offensive attack in the second half, as they scored early in the second half, when Ryan McCann found the back of the net on an assist by Jarrett Choi. Franciscan's offense would pick up in the second half, as they would get multiple good looks in the second half. Justin Fioramonti would deliver a great shot, that would be saved. The rebond would find the foot of Nick Cross who would find the back of the net to give the Barons the lead back at 2-1. Two minutes later, Mikey Irvin would fscore his first goal of the game, to add some insurance and give Franciscan a 3-1 lead.
Inside the Numbers

- Koehler leads the team with 15 points.

Who's Next?
Franciscan now awaits the official PAC standings which will be determined by the athletic directors in the coming days. It appears that they will not be in the top four team, that will make the PAC Tournament, but everyone else is supposed to play one more postseason game with their seeding determining matchups.
