Franciscan lost to Carnegie Melon in their second ever meeting 1-0. The only goal of the day came off a penalty kick. Carnegie Melon Slackman took a shot that was blocked by Franciscan. In the struggle for ball control, Franciscan's Joshua Atkinson committed a foul inside the penalty box. Baugh capitalized on his penalty shot, giving Carnegie Melon a 1-0 lead. In the seond half there would be no more scoring, but there would be four yellow cards given. One on Franciscan's Liam Nagle, and three on Carnegie Melon. Carnegie Melon would hang on to their lead, and the game ended 1-0 Carnegie Melon.
