Box Score Ohio Northern 9, Franciscan 0

Ada, Ohiio - The Franciscan Men's Tennis team dropped their second match of their falls late on the road at Ohio Northern on Saturday. 

Doubles
    Gary Pierre and Travis Mistry paired up once again at #1 doubles. They battled hard but lost 8-4. The other two doubles pairings were new for the 2021-22 season. In #2 doubles, Aidan Palladino and Josh Robbins lost 8-1. The #3 doubles paiting of Leo Morella and James Scanlon had the same fate in their 8-1 loss. 

Singles
    Chris Jankowski made his season debut in #2 doubles. He battled hard but fell in straight sets 6-4, 6-2. Pablo Lloyd was the lone Barons to win a set. In the #6 spot, he split the first two sets, and then in a back and forth tiebreaker he narrowly lost 7-5. Gary Pierre, Josh Robbins, Aidan Palladino and Leo Morella all lost their singles matches in straight sets. 

Who's Next? 
    The Barons will get back after it on Sunday against Wittenberg. The Barons are in search of their first win of the season and first against the Tigers. They are 0-1 against the Tigers with the lone matchup being a 5-4 loss in 2016. Wittenberg is also 0-2 thus far this season, but have a pair of matchups coming up this week before they square off with the Barons.
