Wisconsin-Superior 7, Franciscan 2

Singles
    Franciscan Men started with singles play against Wisconsin-Superior as the Women's teams started with doubles play. In Singles play #3 hitter Billy Presume was the only Baron to find success and win his match. He completed his match quickly winning 6-3, 6-4. the rest of the Baron singles matches ended quickly except for match wins for Wisconsin-Superior, aside from Gary Pierre and Travis Mistry. The #1 and #2 hitters, respectively, found some success against their opponents and made it a tightly contested match. Pierre and Mistry each forced a tie-break in the first set. Unfortunately, they too lost their matches. In the end of Singles play Franciscan was losing 5-1, and Wisconsin-Superior clinched the team victory. 

Doubles
    The #1 doubles pair (Gary Pierre and Travis Mistry), and the #2 doubles pair (Josh Robbins and Aidan Howard) each lost their match. The #3 doubles of Billy Presume and Leo Morella continue to have success. They beat their opponents 8-4. The pair of Presume and Morella were undefeated for the week down in Orlando, Flor. 

Who's Next? 
The Barons return home to take on Otterbein next Saturday. It will be their last non-conference test before jumping into four PAC conference matchups in a row. The Barons are 1-4 all-time against the Cardinals with their lone win coming in 2017. Otterbein holds a 4-5 record thus far this season, as they are getting ready for Ohio Athletic Conference play this spring.
