How It Happened
The Franciscan Barons hosted the Anderson Ravens on Saturday afternoon in Steubenville on a blustery day with gusts touching nearly 30 mph. This game would prove to be a game of runs and momentum for both teams. Anderson controlled the first fifteen minutes, as they led 4-1 at the end of the first quarter. Gavin Cook picked up the lone Baron goal. Coach Pete Rosaschi made some adjustments and got the team firing on all cylinders to start the second quarter. The Barons scored four unanswered goals to take a 5-4 lead. Dominc Rohan scored two of those, while Scordino added his first of the day and Cook added his second. The Ravens answered with three in a row of their own before Alexander Dhabliwala scored his first of the game. Anderson would steal a goal to end the quarter, as it found the back of the net with one second remaining, and the score would be 8-6 Franciscan trailing at the break.

Anderson came out of the half strong, as they scored six straight goals to take a commanding lead. Gavin Cook snapped the run by scoring a man-up goal with less than five minutes to play in the quarter. Scordino would add a pair in the final minutes to tighten this one up a little, as we headed to the fourth quarter. Samuel Marshall and Gavin Cook would score in the fourth, but the Ravens had their most productive quarter, as they scored seven times to seal this one.
