How It Happened 
    The Franciscan Lady Barons found their first 2022 season win tonight against the Muskingum Fighting Muskies. The Lady Baron offensive attack was well-balanced as the first 6 goals were scored from different players. The goal scorer's in order were; Riley O'Brien, Annie King, Grace Deegan, Katheryn Brehm, Mary Bohli, and Joanna Hilkert. These goals all came in the first quarter, and the Lady Barons had a quick early lead of 6-2. Grace Deegan scored 4 more goals in the game to put away the Fighting Muskies, and bring the Lady Barons to victory.

- Mary Bohli's 2 goals were her first 2 goals of the season
- Grace Deegan's 5 goals brings her to 8 goals behind 2nd all-time in goal scoring
- Theresa Lyle scored her first goal of her collegiate career

Who's Next? 
Franciscan returns home on Friday to take on Heidelberg University at 7:00 p.m. The Lady Barons are in search of the their first win all-time against the Student Princes. They have only played each other once in 2020, when Heidelberg won by a score of 13-4. Heidelberg is still in search of their first win of the season with an 0-2 start, but they travel up to Michigan to play Adrian on Wednesday before coming to Steubenville. 

Baron Summer Camps
Franciscan University Athletics is partnering with Steubenville Conferences to offer summer sports camps in conjunction with the Steubenville Main Campus 1 (June 9-12th, 2022) and 3 (June 23-26th, 2022). Youth Conferences. Participants will be able to strengthen both their athletic skills and their relationship with Christ in this uniquely Franciscan hybrid experience.
