  Coming off an electrifying win, the Franciscan Barons look to take on the Marietta Pioneers tomorrow night at home. The Barons have started the season strong going 4-0-1 in their first 5 games and they have outscored opponents 12-2 over that stretch. They will look to continue their dominant start to the season tomorrow. However, this next matchup will look to be a very difficult one.
     Amidst an all-time 3-game losing streak, the Barons hope to record their first win in program history. The Pioneers are also looking to build upon their undefeated season as well. Sitting at 1-0-3, the pioneers are also looking strong and will be tough matchup for the Barons.
     When I sat down with graduate-student, Mikey Irvin, he referred to the defense multiple times when talking about what the team must do to beat the Pioneers this week: "Team defense all around. The defense must be consistent, and we must prove who we are. Putting our chances away. They beat us on possessions last year. We must have mental toughness and focus throughout the entire team. Stick to team agreements and to our system throughout the entire game." Irvin said.
     A battle of two undefeated teams, this is a matchup that you do not want to miss.
