How It Happened
Yesterday afternoon the Barons climbed back to .500 after a resounding 6-0 defeat of the Bethany Bison. Last year on the road, the Bison were a tough out for the Barons and forced a tie with a late goal. Yesterday started off slow. The Barons were looking for runs that weren't there and as a result spent very little time on the attack. Tania ripped a goal up and over the goalkeeper late in the first half to put the Barons up 1-0 going into half.
The flood gates opened up in the second half. The Bison accumulated only one shot while the Barons put up five more goals. The final goal of the evening was from sophomore Abby Measor the first goal of her career.

Inside the Numbers
-The Barons allowed only 2 SOG
-Dill recorded 2 saves in the shutout
-Franciscan had 6 corner kick attempts compared to Bethany's 1
-The Barons had 6 different goal scorers

Who's Next?
Franciscan will continue PAC play on Wednesday, as they host Westminster in a rematch of last year's PAC Championship. The Titans got the better of the Barons in that Championship by a score of 2-0. In the regular season of 2022, the Barons defeated the Titans by that same score. Tania Davidson scored a pair fo goals, and Bri DeChristopher had a 13 save shutout in the win. Wednesday will be a must-see matchup with major postseason implications.
