How It Happened
Game two started out much better, as the Titans just scored one run in the top of the first inning. Watson would help himself in the home half of the first by driving in Falconite to tie it at 1-1. The Barons would take the ir first lead of the day in the third inning. Ryan Scavnicky would score on a wild pitch with two outs to take the one run lead. In the fourth, with two outs Cooper would drive in a pair of Titans for them to retake the lead at 3-2.Ā

The Barons would make their move in the seventh inning. With two outs and the bases loaded, the Barons would tie it up as an error by Westminster's second baseman would allow Ferrance to score. Then Burke would rip a shot to left that would score Ferroni and Falconite after the Titans' catcher was called for blocking the plate. The Barons would pile it on when Watson drove in Scavnicky. Stoehr would then deliver a two-RBI double before scoring on a wild pitch. That would give Franciscan a 9-3 lead.Ā

The Titans would respond in the top of the eighth with six runs, including a grand slam to tie this one back up at 9-9. In the ninth, the Titans would have a runner on second with two outs before knocking in the go ahead run. It would prove to be enough as they held on to win 10-9.Ā
