Location:Â Akron, Ohio
Short Story: Lauren Dosch excels in her collegiate debut to lead the Barons in season opener
Race Highlights
Franciscan Men's Cross Country kicked off the season by running on the Silver Creek Cross Country Trails for the Tommy Evans Invitational. This is the same course that the Barons will run for the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional Championship in November this season.

Jessica Campbell and
Angelina Toole each placed within the top 100.
Teresa Meli was not far behind in 104th.
Rachel Hurley rounded out the top five runners for Franciscan in 130th. In total 13 runners got their season underway for Franciscan in this 5K race.Â

Up Next
Franciscan will stay busy as they will travel to Bethany next weekend for the Bethany Invite. This will be the first time that the Barons have ran at Bethany since March 6th 2021 in part of the shortened 2020-21 season. This should be a good early test for Franciscan to see where the rank among several other PAC opponents, as it appears that every conference team besides Allegheny is scheduled to be there.
Kelly Roggensack Memorial Races
